The Client….
Is a fast growing organiser of large scale events to the Tech & Media industry, As a result of significant growth events and new launches for late 2014, an opportunity has arisen for a commercial, driven manager to join the team.
The Role….
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, the Sales Manager is responsible for managing and developing the sales team to accelerate the growth of our sponsorship and exhibition revenue.
The role will include sales planning with the Portfolio Director and providing detailed reports on progress against plans and forecasts.
Thus is a sales led role, time will be spent on sales with the remaining 30-40% on managing the sales team. The role will also involve account management of a number of our existing large accounts.
The Candidate……
The successful candidate will have proven sales experience, particularly in developing new business and working on growing exhibitions. You will also have experience of managing and mentoring other sales staff.
